Styld is operated by ASPIREVERSE LTD. We are the data controller for salon-owner accounts, subscriptions, security records and operation of the Styld service. Each salon is the data controller for its customer relationships and appointment records; we process that booking information for the salon under our Data Processing Agreement.

Information and purposes

We use owner names, email addresses, salon details and subscription identifiers to create accounts, provide the service, secure access, deliver transactional messages and meet legal obligations. If you apply for an account, we use the contact, salon, location and optional public profile details you submit to assess the application and respond. For bookings we process the customer name, phone number, optional email address, selected service, assigned team member, appointment time, price and payment status so the salon can deliver and manage the appointment. We calculate salon-facing operational totals and per-person activity from those booking and availability records. These views are not payroll, performance scoring or independently verified income records.

Optional onboarding tools may process a salon logo, image or service menu using our listed AI and document-processing providers. Imported values remain drafts until the owner approves them. Images showing people should be uploaded only where the salon has permission to publish them. Do not upload customer records or other unnecessary personal information.

Lawful bases

Owner and subscription processing is necessary to perform our contract. Security, fraud prevention, service reliability and product administration rely on our legitimate interests. Accounting and regulatory records are processed to meet legal obligations. Salon customer booking data is processed on the salon's documented instructions.

Sharing and international transfers

We use the providers listed in our subprocessor register. Where information is processed outside the UK, we rely on an approved transfer mechanism and the provider's contractual safeguards.

Retention

Salon account applications are retained for up to 12 months. Booking contact details are anonymised 24 months after the appointment. Accounting and payment metadata may be kept for six years. Security and audit records are normally kept for 12 months; delivered email bodies and completed payment-event records for 90 days; unfinished AI onboarding drafts and generation-job records for 30 days. Generated images remain in the salon asset library until the owner replaces or deletes them. A legal hold may temporarily override deletion where required.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing where the relevant right applies. Salon customers should normally contact the salon first for appointment data; they may also contact us and we will assist the salon. We respond to verified requests without undue delay.

Cookies and app storage

Styld uses only strictly necessary session and security storage. See our cookie notice. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking.

Complaints

You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
